September 2018

Dear David Walley's Owners,

The mountains are alive with color and there is a brisk chill in the air, which makes a soak in the hot tub the perfect way to enjoy your day or finish off your evening. When visiting the resort, please keep in mind the seasonal Canyon pool will close for the year on Oct 1st. The Hot Springs will remain open from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. seven days a week. Check the website for a current spa blackout date calendar or contact the resort for any additional information.

With the high occupancy that Fall and the holiday season bring to the resort, our special projects are placed on hold until after the first of the year. We will be continuing the unit renovations in 2019. Watch for upcoming information on where and when. Please continue to send your comments and valuable suggestions, as these are considered in our decisions regarding resort special projects. We truly appreciate your insight and want to know what items are important to you as we plan for the future of the resort.

Once again, we are receiving information from owners regarding contact from sales companies inviting them to attend a special owners meeting. Please be advised that any association meetings are posted on the website, under the Owners Corner – Meeting Notices. If the meeting is not posted there, it is NOT being held by the Walley’s Property Owners Association nor by David Walley’s Resort and Hot Springs. If in doubt, please feel free to contact me at the resort and I will be happy to confirm the scheduled resort meetings with you.

This month, I’d like to cover some general information regarding Owner Use Time stays.

  • During all Owner Use Time stays, owners are granted access to the hot springs. The access allowed mirrors the sleeping capacity of the unit – Studio (2), One Bedroom (4) and a Two Bedroom (6). The guests are registered at time of check-in and may not be changed during the stay.
  • You will receive a mid-week cleaning during your stay. This includes a change of linen/towels and removal of the trash. If a full service clean is needed, you may contact the front desk for scheduling and pricing.
  • Our check-in time is 4:00 p.m.; however, you are welcome to contact the front desk on your day of arrival to inquire about availability for an early check-in. You will be asked to leave a phone number where you may be reached, and we will contact you if your room is ready prior to 4:00 p.m. Check-out is at 11:00 a.m.
  • We do accept dogs, with advance notice. A $250.00 deposit is due at the time of check-in and a cleaning fee of $15.00 per night will be charged. All dogs must be kept on a leash always and are not allowed to be left in the unit unattended. Please, no puppies.
